sensoryREADY is Solve’s MIT Equitable Classroom global solutions for 2021

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced the 2021 Solver teams and fellows participating in the MIT solutions for Social Impact Competition. Iris Solution’s SensoryREADY is a top five solutions for the equitable classroom challenge, and is the first Palestinian and MENA-based project to receive for this award.

The challenges this year are in five main areas: Digital Inclusion, Equitable Classrooms, Health Security & Pandemics, Resilient Ecosystems, Antiracist Technology in the US, Indigenous Communities. This year, 1,800 solutions competed in call. Among with, fourty three graduated to the Solve Fellows program
Solve launched the Equitable Classrooms Challenge and asked innovators across the globe: How can all young learners have access to quality, safe, and equitable learning environments? Solve’s Equitable Classrooms Challenge received 514 applications from 83 countries globally, each with a unique and innovative approach to the present and future of education.
The sensoryREADY as a solution for Equitable Classrooms challenge
The SensoryREADY is an innovative solution that enables the easy creation of friendly spaces for education and rehabilitation. It’s a tool that turns any space into a sensory experience in a matter of minutes. The user (a child, teacher, therapist, or parent) can change lights, music, visuals, and sounds. The sensoryREADY comes with extensive audio and video libraries. along with interactive educational content. Currently, there are more than 10,000 children and adults benefiting from the SensoryREADY system in schools, kindergartens, centers, and hospitals in five countries around the world.
