Iris receives H. H. Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award in Kuwait

Iris solutions company received the Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award 2016 in Kuwait. Iris got selected as one of the best five technical company in the Arab world. Mr. Mohammad Nanish received the award in the annual event which took place at Bayan Al Amer Palace in the Kuwaiti capital. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, delivered the award to all the winners at the event.

This year, the award theme is about great importance in the transformations that happen to individuals and societies.

 The judges’ council is a group of experts and Technical officials in the Arab world. The selection criteria was based on content quality, inclusiveness, and diversity of its servies and products. In addition to the quality of the design, the comprehensiveness of its general form and the extent of its diversity, as well as the interaction in terms of the quality, comprehensiveness, and diversity of the interaction.

The total value of the prizes allocated by the informatics award amounted to 200,000 USD, with 20,000 USD for each winner, indicating that the public and private sectors won equally five prizes this year, five for each sector.

This award is the 7th prize for Iris Solutions, which the company was awarded in 2015 in King Abdullah II Award for Creativity and Youth Achievement, And an award from Google for leadership in the year 2014. Iris was honoured at Stanford University in the United States of America last June.
