Dead sea- Jordan. Iris solution was selected as one of the top 100 fourth industrial revolution startups by World Economic Forum at the Middle East and North Africa (Davos Forum) which took place this month.
The Forum sessions focused on four essential elements: The fourth industrial revolution in the Arab world, building a new economic model, the future of environmental management in the Arab world, and reaching common ground in a multi-directional world. The forum aims to increase the integration of entrepreneurs in the Arab world into a national and regional dialogue on pressing challenges. The selected startup participated in the official program for World Economic Forum around the Middle East and North Africa meeting, and had the opportunity to connection with leaders from the business, political, industry world. And discuses their industry future and access to maximum benefit in societies.
The forum was held for two days under the slogan “Towards new cooperation systems”. Hosted in Jordan and in partnership and cooperation between the World Economic Forum and the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, The companies were selected from more than 400 applicants, and they represent 17 countries and sectors such as education, energy, environment, finance, health, media, and transportation.
King Abdullah II inaugurated the forum’s activities and delivered the opening speech, with the participation of a number of heads of state and about 1,000 business leaders, politicians, representatives of civil society institutions, international and youth organizations, media professionals, and academics from about 50 countries.
It is noteworthy that Iris Solutions was established in Ramallah in 2012, and it is a startup specializing in the field of interactive technology, which designs and implements sensory rooms whose mission is to develop the senses of children by linking lights and music with education and interactive games that can increase feelings of happiness and reduce the sense of tension. The company seeks, through its participation in the global forum, to offer its distinguished services to other technology companies in the Arab world that are unique to them, and to be able to find investors to finance several projects in the Middle East and North Africa.
